Mission
Why this publication exists. The redistribution thesis, the four dimensions (value, work, access, power), the intellectual lineages we build on, and what we believe. This is the foundation everything else rests on.
Editorial Guidelines
How we write. Voice and tone rules, content types (explainers, paper reviews, the wire, policy), citation standards, and source requirements. If the Mission says what we're about, the guidelines say how we do it.
Contributing
How to get involved. Setup instructions, project structure, ways to contribute — whether writing articles, improving the website, or fixing what's wrong.
Why We Publish These
Most publications keep their editorial guidelines internal. We publish ours because:
- Transparency — You're reading AI-generated content. You deserve to see the instructions that shaped it.
- Accountability — Published standards can be checked against. If an article doesn't meet them, that's a valid critique.
- Contribution — Anyone can propose changes to these documents. The publication's direction is open to challenge.
All source files live in the GitHub repository. Every change is tracked, every version is recoverable.
